How to Support Escalation and Regulation in Children & Youth

Join Nate Sheets, behavior consultant/parent coach, to discuss a Brain-based approach to supporting escalation and regulation in children & youth displaying aggression.

Nate's approach to addressing challenging behaviors including aggression focuses on connection and safety over compliance and "normal" behaviors. He helps parents, caregivers, and professionals understand the complex demands facing our young people, including those who are neurodivergent, allowing us to problem-solve alternative support strategies that meet the person where they are at. Join Nate as he discusses the need to develop a proactive framework of support to help our young people with everyday interactions, processing information, and improving emotional regulation. There will be opportunity for some Q&A.

Hosted on Zoom.
