Powwow Dance⁠—Cultural Connections for our Children

In this 60-minute presentation Deanne Hupfield will share her story of reconnecting to culture through powwow dance. Sharing the benefits she has gained through being a powwow dancer and how she has supported her children to experience dance. We will also learn some basic steps and stories.

About our presenter

Host of How to Powwow Dance on YouTube, Deanne Hupfield is an Indigenous Educator from Temagami First Nation. She has been teaching powwow dance and regalia making for over 20 years in numerous community organizations and now online to help others reconnect to culture as she has.
