About our Presenters:
Chantal Vallerand is the Executive Director of Drug Free Kids Canada. DFK Canada is a national, registered charity whose mission is to reduce the prevalence of problematic substance use by youth. Her work engages parents and youth to have ongoing, non-judgemental dialogue about substance use to promote healthy decision-making and reduce cannabis and other substances related harms.
Chantal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Laurentian University.

Steve Keller (he/him) is the Program Developer for Drug Free Kids Canada. Steve graduated from Trent University’s Bachelor of Education program and has been supporting youth through facilitating mental health and addictions programming since 2015. Steve is a passionate and energetic public speaker who enjoys helping exchange knowledge between credited research and audiences across Canada
